During his illustrious 58-year career, Mr. Davis received numerous professional and military commendations, held a top-secret security clearance for weaponry work with the US Army, and published over 100 articles and software ballistics programs. He worked as a chief engineering supervisor for small armaments for the US Army and NATO, and was a major contributor to Colt Firearms' M-16 engineering.
